Above is the resume that got me hired at my most recent position.  You may wonder what distinguishes it from the resumes that ended up shredded and recycled, or left in piles around the office.  After locating the obvious differences (it's well-organized, it contains consistent formatting,etc.), you may notice more subtle things that set it apart.

I have worked as a professional career counselor since 2008, creating resumes and cover letters for over 500 people.  Most of my clients have been recent graduates and career changers, people who weren't sure of how to broadcast their own strengths (and sometimes even what those strengths were).  While you may not know how to summarize your experience or describe your accomplishments, I have learned how to showcase and highlight people's talents in a way that will grasp the attention of whomever's desk your resume lands on.
